Job Description At Syngenta, we are working to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. We are currently seeking a Commercial Enablement Trainer. This role serves as a critical bridge between IT development teams and the Sales organization, responsible for designing, delivering, and managing training programs for digital business tools that enable sales effectiveness.
Accountabilities:
Partner with IT teams to understand digital business tool roadmaps, updates, and capabilities. Ownership of the end-to-end training for the current and new digital business tools to include AI tools and new business planning tools for the future. Translate technical functionality into business-relevant training content for sales and cross-functional audiences with internal sales teams being the primary focus. Serve as the primary liaison between IT and commercial teams for training needs assessment. Develop and maintain comprehensive training curricula for the owned digital business tool suite. Create engaging training materials including user guides, video tutorials, quick reference guides, and e-learning modules where appropriate. Deliver live training sessions (virtual and in-person) for new tool launches and ongoing capability building.
Training Support & Collaboration:
Provide training support in partnership with the agronomy team for agronomy-focused digital tools. Serve as program owner for the Developmental Sales Representative and Sales Intern programs. Embed digital tool training into broader sales training initiatives and onboarding programs through collaboration with Sales Trainers and role within Field Force Enablement team.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree required; Business, Agriculture, or Education preferred.
Experience:
7-10 years in sales, training, or business enablement roles. Proficiency with sales enablement tools and systems Strong understanding of digital agronomy solutions and precision agriculture technology Ability to quickly learn and teach new software applications.
AI-literate and AI-curious:
Proactive interest in and understanding of how Artificial Intelligence can enhance business processes and training delivery. Digitally fluent and experienced with prompt engineering. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Demonstrates end-to-end accountability for training initiatives from conception through delivery and evaluation Effectively leads, develops, and motivates team members to achieve individual and collective goals. Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders to achieve a goal/objective. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Travel requirements in region:
20% to 30%
