As a YDP, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that foster our three priority outcomes of academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. In collaboration with other staff, you will ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all youth during Club hours. Transport students from schools to the clubs on a daily basis. YDP's report directly to Site Managers, with the supervision of our Director of Programming.

Responsibilities:

Supervise members and maintain safety policies at all times. Submit weekly lesson plans including tutoring, STEM, art, health & wellness, and recreation activities. Proctor program evaluation tools Build positive, supportive mentoring relationships with our members Maintain consistent and accurate program reporting Participate in trainings on diversity/inclusion, working with youth, and best programming practices.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED (college experience preferred) 2-3 years of related work experience with youth of diverse populations Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimum supervision Computer and STEM skills preferred Ability to transport members in Club vehicles preferred (must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance to qualify) Knowledge of trauma and diversity informed practices

Hours:

1-6pm during the After-School Program, special hours may occur from time to time. 8:30am-6:00pm during Summer Camp and when PSD150 is not in school.
