Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
Develops and enhances training programs for Insurance Agents. Provides support for Agents in Insurance concepts and sales. Designs training resources for all insurance products and systems. Facilitates sales training using a variety of methods, including live presentations, web conferencing, computer-based training, and one-on-one contact with Agents. Continuously assesses, develops, and improves their training programs. Gathers and compiles information regarding trainings and analyzes and adjusts discrepancies. Creates training using storyboards. Attends conferences related to talent development.
Minimum Knowledge and Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree in education, Business, Communications, or related field preferred. 5-7 years of training and facilitating experience. Knowledge of adult learning principles. 3 years of experience developing instructor-led and self-guided training courses and materials. Some sales training experience. Insurance sales training experience preferred. Interpersonal and analytical skills. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to guide and motivate others. Ability to explain concepts, systems, and procedures to help develop professional. Must have effective utilization of computer systems including company and industry related software for essential job functions. Must be able to travel to other offices for trainings about 25% of the time. Must maintain a minimum performance standard for trainers at all evaluation point. CPTM or other training related certifications preferred. Extensive knowledge of adult learning principles. Excellent critical thinking skills and presentation skills. Must be able to stay abreast of new industry trends and advances. Experience conducting learning needs assessments to identify problems and/or performance gaps and determine the requirements of either the revision of existing learning and development programs or the development of a new solution contributing to new growth opportunities. Experience evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback to management and leadership. #HO #LI-TH1 High School or better.
