Job Description

General Responsibilities:
The Employee Development Coordinator provides administrative, logistical, and event support to ensure employee development and training programs run smoothly. The role coordinates training logistics including scheduling, invitations, enrollment, travel arrangements, materials preparation, on-site and virtual session support, and maintenance of records, analytics, and certificates. Responsibilities also include supporting course quality through functional testing and job aid development, processing accounts payable documentation, and collaborating with team members while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including course, curriculum, certification, learning path, and learner assignment maintenance. Upload, organize, test, publish, and maintain learning content and training materials within the LMS and SharePoint. Partner with subject matter experts to collect, organize, convert, and publish LMS-ready learning assets. Maintain exams, quizzes, competency verifications, and knowledge assessment tools within the LMS. Generate, analyze, and distribute training, certification, competency, and compliance reports and learning analytics. Provide LMS support and system training to learners, managers, facilitators, administrators, and stakeholders. Develop and maintain LMS user guides, job aids, process documentation, and instructional support materials. Collaborate with the HRIS Systems Analyst and Employee Development Team to resolve issues, test system enhancements, and support user acceptance activities. Support onboarding, compliance, technical, and professional development programs through training administration and record management. Coordinate course launches, enrollments, schedules, communications, invitations, and training program logistics. Plan, coordinate, and provide on-site and virtual support for instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training events. Serve as a virtual training producer, providing facilitation support, session management, analytics, and facilitator guidance. Create and maintain training-related assets, including course thumbnails, certificates, videos, facilitator materials, and job aids. Support departmental operations through travel coordination, accounts payable processing, invoice documentation, and administrative activities. Identify opportunities to improve learning administration processes, content organization, and overall learning program effectiveness while providing cross-functional team support and backup coverage. Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. Maintain quality standards on all projects. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate's degree in business administration or related field and 3 years' related experience. Or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years' related experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required.
