IS4S is seeking an Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) trainer and field support representative. The person or persons filling this position will integrate into an existing, multi-disciplinary team to drive user engagement, understanding, and operation of EW command and control and EW systems. Responsibilities include Maintaining comprehensive understanding of EW systems and their employment across the Joint forces Work with the IS4S team to develop learning objectives and training modules Train end users and warfighters on system operation and integration Support system deployment and integration Interacting with operators, engineers, customers, and industry colleagues to gather input and feedback Supporting system testing from an operator perspective Traveling to support testing, operational demos, training, and other support activities The challenges facing our nation are constantly evolving. Therefore, we are looking for self-driven, entrepreneurial team members willing and able to constantly learn, adapt, and find ways to develop and integrate solutions. Selected applicants will be expected to gain familiarity with other domains and how EW may integrate or enhance them, track current technological trends and how they can inform and enhance EW, and stay intimately familiar with Army systems and doctrine that support EW.
Required Abilities, Experience, and Skills:
Working knowledge of EW, RF, radar, and/or SIGINT Strong knowledge of EW, RF, and SIGINT employment in and across the US Armed Services Ability to comprehend complex concepts and systems and then train others on efficient use of those systems Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field or operational experience in a technical area (e.g., EW) Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks with minimal direction Must be able to travel (50% or more, from 14-30 days per trip) to support customer engagements, integration and testing in live environments, occasionally working non-standard hours to match exercise schedules Must be able to lift and carry computing and networking equipment in support of transit and installation Possess strong written and verbal communication skills US Citizenship is required
Desired Experience and Skills:
Prior military or government experience with a focus on EW, SIGINT, ELINT, communications, and/or command and control Strong background in RF systems, computer science or software development, and systems integration Understanding of EW operations, including doctrine and tactics, across the Joint Forces Expertise using training design aids, from PowerPoint to videos to interactive modules
