Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart your career with a company that radically loves and influences lives? Join our team at Bell Lumber & Pole as a training intern and gain hands-on experience building real-world training systems, creating engaging content, and shaping how teams learn and grow across our multiple locations. This is a temporary internship based out of our New Brighton, MN location. $20.00 / per hour, Monday - Friday As a Training & Development Intern, you will: Assist in designing standard work templates and training checklists Edit and produce training videos (using tools like Canva, Clipchamp, or YouTube) Support ongoing development of the Training & Learning SharePoint site Research and explore future Learning Management System (LMS) options Help build scalable training and learning systems across all sites Create visual training materials such as posters, guides, and infographics Develop branded content to support internal learning and communication Translate operational processes into clear, visual formats Edit and produce training videos using tools such as Canva, Clipchamp, or YouTube Assist in building and organizing a video training library/catalog Support scripting, recording, and post-production of training content on platforms like SharePoint and SwipeGuide Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to Business, HR, Learning & Development, Communications, or a similar field Strong interest in training, learning, and organizational development Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) Comfortable learning new software and digital tools quickly Strong organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks Open to feedback and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
