$25.10 / hour Description Help dental teams grow, build confidence, and deliver exceptional care through meaningful learning and development. Schedule-Monday-Friday, 40 hours weekly. This position will travel to all dental locations through Compass. The role will be home-based when not needed in clinics. The schedule may vary depending on the training needs. The Dental Trainer supports the growth and success of Dental employees by providing engaging education, skill development, onboarding, and ongoing learning opportunities. This role partners with Dental leadership and clinical teams to deliver effective training, monitor progress, and identify opportunities for continued development. Through a combination of in-person, virtual, and hands-on learning, the Dental Trainer helps strengthen team capabilities while supporting department goals and the organization's strategic plan. Key Responsibilities This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys: Supporting the onboarding, orientation, and professional development of Dental employees Facilitating engaging training through in-person, virtual, didactic, and hands-on learning Partnering with clinical leaders and Dental leadership to identify and address learning needs Creating a positive, professional, and encouraging learning environment Tracking employee progress, completing required documentation, and evaluating training effectiveness Using feedback and data to strengthen training initiatives and support continuous improvement Staying current on dental training techniques, compliance, and infection control practices Traveling to various locations, as needed, to support training needs (up to 30% of the time) Contributing to special projects and other initiatives that support Dental team development Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Certified Dental Assistant preferred, or the ability to obtain upon employment Bring solid hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant and understand the day-to-day realities of clinical dental care Enjoy helping others learn, develop new skills, and feel confident in their work Communicate clearly and build positive relationships with employees and leaders Are organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple training priorities and locations Approach training with patience, encouragement, and a strengths-based mindset Are adaptable and open to learning new techniques, technologies, and approaches to professional development Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to service excellence Are passionate about helping Dental teams thrive and contributing to a culture of Inspire Hope.
