Apply by September 21, 2026 South County Habilitation Center (SCHC) is currently recruiting to fill a Staff Development Training Specialist position. This position is located at South County Habilitation Center, 2312 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Sunday/Saturday/Holidays off; however, you will need to be flexible in working various shifts as required by the facility's training needs. Responsibilities - What you'll do What you'll do: This is a specialized professional training and development position accountable for developing and delivering training programs, administering assessments and certification requirements, providing coaching, and ensuring knowledge transfer. Employees train staff in areas such as professional development, supervisory and managerial training, e-learning, and continuous improvement, using established educational requirements and job specific procedures and policies. This position will be responsible for teaching New Employee Orientation (NEO) as well as assisting with

classes including but not limited to CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, and Advanced Safety Care. Qualifications - All you need for success

Eligibility:

Two to four years of relevant training experience. Ability to obtain and maintain certification in all required trainings (CPR, Safety Care, Advanced Safety Care, etc.)
