Job Description

The Recruitment and Training Specialist Backup (RTS Backup) will be responsible for providing backup support to RGIS Hiring and Training programs within their respective District. While the RTS Backup's primary role is counting and participating in the inventory process, they will support their District in recruiting, hiring and training initiatives as needed. This will include but may not be limited to:
  • Utilize the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) during the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Post open positions on job boards, host hiring events, and/or initiate other hiring activities to attract talent to inventory roles.
  • Interview, present job offers, and onboard new employees within the district.
  • Conduct new hire and ongoing inventory related training to continuously enhance the skills of the inventory team.
  • Effectively demonstrate and educate on corporate policies and procedures.
  • Participate in inventories, such as by, supervising inventories, leading flows, and/or counting in inventories.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Demonstrate the RGIS Core Values in all that you do. Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent Experience or Knowledge Requirements
  • Experience in hiring and onboarding
  • Knowledge in HR compliance, particularly related to hiring and onboarding
  • Experience in the inventory counting process and utilizing inventory counting devices, (in a retail environment is a plus).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and various training delivery methods.
  • Leader, with a high level of professionalism. Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged standing with occasional walking
  • Repetitive motions requiring use of wrists, hands and fingers
  • Able to work for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to frequently travel by car/vehicle and occasionally by air/flight
  • Able to travel including overnight stays, occasionally

  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Subject to a pre-employment background screening, including but may not be limited to, criminal background, drug, and motor vehicle record screenings
