The Senior Training and Development Coordinator will: Develop and implement training programs across all Child Support Services Division (CSSD) functional areas; Collaborate with staff and management to identify departmental training needs; Serve as a liaison between the Training Unit, CSSD staff, and management; Train new employees during New Hire Orientation, including Child Support Enforcement System (CSES) and CSSD procedures and policies; Facilitate training sessions as requested or as assigned by the PMO Bureau Chief; Ensure training content meets the needs of both established areas and emerging CSSD priorities. How does it get done? The Senior Training and Development Coordinator is responsible for: Developing, implementing, and evaluating trainings for all levels of Child Support Services Division (CSSD) employees using various delivery methods, including instructor led and teleconference (Microsoft Teams); Identifying, developing, and implementing training that prepares CSSD employees in the fundamentals of Child Support Enforcement System (CSES) and educates them on their role within the legal process for CSSD; Offering requested trainings each month and assisting with scheduled trainings; Ensuring the maximization of training opportunities and overall training effectiveness for CSSD employees through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; Serving as a guide for CSSD employees in policy and advocating established standard practices in all trainings facilitated; Actively participating in the Training Units activities (meetings, projects, collaborations, and interactions) to support its development and value to CSSD; Assisting with projects assigned to the Training Unit to ensure successful outcomes. . Who are the customers? Serving external customers, including custodial parents, noncustodial parents, and employers; Supporting internal customers, including field staff, attorneys, and management. Ideal Candidate Serving external customers, including custodial parents, noncustodial parents, and employers; Supporting internal customers, including field staff, attorneys, and management. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in any field and two (2) years of experience in adult education, instructional design, instructional technology, human resources, employee development, training, and/or producing instructional aid/materials. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess or obtain Defensive Driving Certificate Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some travel may be required.
