Job Description:
SUMMARY Provides non-instructional support within the Fire Academy of Cuyahoga Community College.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides non-instructional support to the Firefighter Physical Agility Testing program as test proctors Provides non-instructional support to the Firefighter Training Academy through maintenance and operation of essential equipment and instructional props Provides non-instructional support in the transport and delivery of essential equipment/materials required for Live Fire Training exercises and other Advanced Fire Training programming
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
High School Diploma or GED Demonstrated knowledge in all types of tools and equipment used in firefighter training Must be able to exercise good judgment and discretion in the performance of regular work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic math skills Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to meet the College's insurability requirements Ability to communicate effectively to individuals at all levels internal and external to the College Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population

Associate's Degree Experience in fire training
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
