We are seeking a Training Coordinator who will champion the structure, accountability, and effectiveness of our production training processes. We are on a journey to build a highly capable, cross-trained workforce while maintaining staffing levels aligned with business demands. The Training Coordinator will play a critical role in developing and maintaining training KPIs, auditing training effectiveness, and overseeing accurate training documentation and production matrixes. This position will also partner closely with leadership to monitor staffing needs, support skill-based progression, and maintain alignment between workforce capability and operational goals. JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for all aspects of the employee training, selection and training of trainers, adherence to agreed upon training methodologies, documentation of employee training and qualifications, assessment of trainee progress, and final verification and sign off of trainees.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Essential Functions) Develops and maintains KPI's for the training process. Maintains current job descriptions along with expected qualifications for each position in production. Monitors adherence of trainers to the agreed upon training methodology. Develops and maintains a system to track training completed by employees and required training to be completed. Develop a system to audit and assess the effectiveness of the training being delivered to associates. Maintains employee training records including weekly evaluations during the training period, verification of trainee's sign off from trainee to fully trained operator, and all completed training records. Maintains a production training matrix to monitor future training needs and opportunities or requirements for associate cross training. Monitors staffing needs and owns maintaining staffing numbers at budgeted levels. Completes pay change forms (PCF's) related to associate movement, skill based pay, etc.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE A
degree in education, training, HR, or related field is desired. Prior experience in training and/or HR working in and/or with manufacturing operation
