Summary Description:
The Training Instructor works with the Workforce Development Manager to deliver Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW), Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (CPRSS), and professional development training through private tuition and grant-funded programs. This position supports training operations, student success, program development, and community outreach. Some statewide travel and occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
Position Responsibilities:
Internal Operations Support the administration and coordination of ASPIN training programs, including private tuition and grant-funded initiatives. Manage training schedules, registrations, records, and reporting; assist with learning management systems and grant performance tracking; provide customer service, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and participate in meetings and team collaboration. Education and Training Deliver interactive in-person and virtual

training, study sessions, and online instruction. Support students and graduates throughout the training process, assist with accommodating any special needs of participants, and employment resources, and maintain continuing education records. Program Development Provide research assistance, curriculum review, and development, and other duties as assigned, responsibilities may expand or evolve to support organizational priorities and grant objectives. Marketing Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare, behavioral health, education, and community organizations to promote training programs. Support marketing, recruitment, and outreach efforts, deliver informational presentations, and collaborate with partners to achieve program goals and address challenges. Position Qualifications A bachelor's degree with one year's experience in a related field, instructional design, education, healthcare, behavioral health, or teaching is recommended. Experience working with rural and/or underserved individuals and communities a plus. Must have excellent presentation, interpersonal and communications skills, good organizational ability, and be able to work both independently in a virtual setting and with others. Must have strong computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Office 365. Organizational management of social media skills a plus. Current ASPIN Certified Community Health Worker preferred. Additionally, current access to a strong internet connection is required. Willing/eligible to become a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist through NAADAC - Must have a minimum two years of recovery from lived-experience in substance use and/or co-occurring mental health disorders (self-attested) and willing to share your story. $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
