We believe real progress comes from bold ideas—so we lean into innovation and collaboration to deliver work that not only meets today's needs but supports a sustainable future. website : https://www.wraab.com Position Overview WRAAB is seeking an experienced Nuclear Corrective Action Program (CAP) Development Specialist to support the development, enhancement, and implementation of a robust Corrective Action Program for a nuclear industry client. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience developing or improving corrective action programs within the nuclear power, nuclear energy, or other highly regulated environments. The individual will work closely with client management, engineering, quality assurance, operations, and regulatory personnel to establish an effective, risk-informed process for identifying, evaluating, correcting, and preventing recurrence of conditions adverse to quality. Key Responsibilities Develop, evaluate, and enhance the client's Nuclear Corrective Action Program. Review existing CAP processes, procedures, and implementing guidance and identify opportunities for improvement. Establish processes for identification, documentation, screening, categorization, prioritization, and tracking of conditions adverse to quality. Develop or improve root-cause analysis, apparent-cause analysis, and extent-of-condition processes. Establish corrective and preventive action requirements based on issue significance. Develop processes for corrective-action tracking, closure, and effectiveness reviews. Support development of CAP performance indicators, trending, and management reporting. Ensure CAP processes are appropriately aligned with applicable nuclear regulatory and quality requirements. Support integration of CAP activities with nonconformance, condition-reporting, operating experience, engineering, and quality assurance processes. Develop CAP procedures, guidance documents, forms, and training materials. Facilitate CAP-related workshops and training for client personnel. Support management reviews and continuous improvement of the CAP. Provide technical and procedural support during audits, assessments, and regulatory inspections, as applicable. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Assurance, or a related technical discipline. 7+ years of relevant experience in the nuclear industry , preferably in nuclear power generation or nuclear quality assurance. Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or significantly improving a Corrective Action Program . Strong understanding of nuclear quality assurance and corrective-action processes. Experience with root-cause analysis, condition reporting, causal analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness reviews . Familiarity with applicable NRC requirements and nuclear quality standards, as appropriate to the client's facility and scope. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with engineering, operations, QA, management, and regulatory stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Nuclear QA/QC or quality-program experience. Part 21, ASME NQA-1 , or equivalent nuclear quality requirements. Experience supporting NRC inspections, regulatory audits, or nuclear quality assessments.
