Targeted bonus of 5% of base salary based on company and individual performance Job Summary We are seeking a Training Coordinator to support employee development and training within a manufacturing environment. This position will help develop a skilled and qualified workforce by coordinating training programs, creating training materials, documenting procedures, and supporting employee qualification programs. The Training Coordinator will work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Human Resources, and other departments to ensure employees receive the training and support needed to perform their jobs safely, effectively, and consistently. This is a hands-on role with a strong presence on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable developing SOPs and training materials, working with employees at various skill levels, identifying training needs, and helping improve processes and overall operational performance. Manufacturing operations may include machining, molding, assembly, quality, and other supporting functions. Training Responsibilities Support new employee orientation and qualification programs in partnership with Human Resources and Operations. Develop and deliver training for production employees. Ensure training documentation and qualification processes are completed accurately and consistently. Work with operators, engineers, and process owners to develop and maintain training programs. Create, update, and maintain SOPs, training materials, and other process documentation. Develop training programs to support areas such as machining, molding, assembly, quality, and other manufacturing operations. Conduct classroom training, workshops, and hands-on training sessions. Support on-the-job training and employee skill development. Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements. Help identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization. Track employee qualifications and training progress. Continuous Improvement Responsibilities Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and employee performance. Assist with continuous improvement projects. Support the implementation of process changes and monitor results. Conduct process audits and provide recommendations for improvement. Train and support employees in implementing and maintaining process improvements. Document process changes, improvements, and updated procedures. Work with department leaders and employees to develop sustainable improvements. Collaboration and Reporting Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Human Resources, and other departments. Provide updates and reports regarding training programs and improvement initiatives. Track progress toward employee qualification and development goals. Help promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee development. Maintain a visible presence on the manufacturing floor and build strong relationships with employees and leadership. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. Additional education or relevant certifications are a plus. 2+ years of experience in training coordination, continuous improvement, or a related role required. 1+ year of experience documenting technical and non-technical processes. 2+ years of manufacturing experience required. Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen required. Experience in aerospace, automotive, or a similar manufacturing industry preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create clear SOPs, work instructions, and training materials. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Comfortable working directly with employees and leadership in a manufacturing environment.
