HVAC Instructor Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday ; schedule may include day and/or evening instructional assignments

In person Position Summary CyberTex Institute of Technology is seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Instructor to provide both classroom instruction and hands-on laboratory training in the HVAC program. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, organized, professional, and committed to supporting student success in both technical instruction and career readiness. Key Responsibilities Provide classroom , lab , and hands-on skills instruction in accordance with approved curriculum and course syllabi. Teach students HVAC-related concepts, systems, tools, safety practices, troubleshooting methods, and industry procedures. Maintain classrooms, labs, tools, and equipment in a safe, organized, and functional condition. Monitor and document student attendance , grades , academic progress , and overall performance. Administer and evaluate assignments , quizzes , exams , lab activities , and other assessments. Support student retention , completion , certification readiness , and employment preparation . Promote safe work habits and reinforce EPA , lab safety , and OSHA-conscious practices within the instructional setting. Participate in faculty meetings, training activities, and other institutional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC industry experience in a related field. Teaching or training experience preferred, but not required. Associate degree in a related field preferred, but not required. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems , tools , troubleshooting , installation/service practices , and applicable industry standards. Ability to teach both lecture-based and hands-on laboratory instruction. Must hold a current EPA Certification . Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA-conscious instructional practices relevant to HVAC training. Strong communication , organization , documentation , and professionalism required.
