(ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
): Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Training Specialist in Arlington, Virginia. The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs under the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) educational program. This role involves developing and executing training curricula, managing logistics, and ensuring compliance with DoD and NGB guidelines. The Training Specialist applies advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and exercises discretion in designing, tailoring, and delivering training programs that impact NGB program performance.
Training Development:
Create and update SAPR training curricula, Training Support Packages (TSPs), and related materials in compliance with DoD directives.
Facilitation:
Independently design and facilitate SAPR Joint Initial Training events, exercising judgment in adapting content to evolving requirements.
Logistics Management:
Coordinate training venues, agendas, speakers, and material distribution.
Evaluation:
Conduct After-Action Reports, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.
Compliance Reporting:
Track and report on training participation, D-SAACP certification, and refresher training requirements. Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend strategic improvements to program leadership.
Payrate:
$65,000 to $70,000 Annually
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree Proficiency in curriculum design and adult learning principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, (e.g. PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote). Familiarity with DoD SAPR policies and D-SAACP certification requirements. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). Must be a U.S. citizen.
