Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition and Training Specialist plays a critical role in sourcing, assessing, and hiring qualified candidates to support Wisconsin Management Company's property portfolio. This position is also responsible for leading organization-wide onboarding and training initiatives, including the development of training plans and facilitation of New Employee Orientation (NEO). Additionally, this role supports the Human Resources Director with employee relations matters and broader HR initiatives.Principal Duties:
Source, screen, evaluate, and advise managers on candidate selection to ensure alignment with organizational needs. Develop and maintain interview processes, including creating interview questions, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communications. Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community outreach initiatives to build candidate pipelines and promote the employer brand. Lead and facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) to ensure a consistent and engaging onboarding experience. Develop, implement, and maintain training plans across the organization, ensuring employees receive the tools and resources needed to be successful. Support onboarding and training functions, including maintaining training systems, assigning required training, and assisting with organization-wide training initiatives. Assist the Human Resources Director in investigating, reviewing, and resolving employee relations matters. Support the HR team with reporting, data tracking, and administrative functions. To be successful in this role you will have: High school diploma required; additional post-secondary education preferred. 2-4 years of education or experience in human resources or a related field. HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR). Maintain a high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality. Ability to act calmly and use good judgment, tact, and discretion in decision-making while under stress. Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with PC systems and Microsoft Office software. Ability to display professional behavior and dress as required by Wisconsin Management. Physical requirements include the ability to remain stationary for extended periods, and to position, detect, and operate office machinery and phones.
