Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and grooming Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management promptly Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, and outdoor exercise activities to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Support team lifting efforts when moving or cleaning large or heavy kennels and equipment Ensure pet care facility sanitization standards are met consistently to maintain a hygienic environment Experience Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling is preferred Familiarity with kennel operations, pet grooming, and animal restraint techniques is advantageous Background in customer service within a pet care setting is a plus Hands-on outdoor work experience involving animals or pets is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during cleaning or equipment setup Knowledge of animal behavior and pet care best practices enhances your effectiveness in this role
