•Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assisted Kennel Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of animals in our facility. You will ensure that all pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they need while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for animal care and are looking to make a positive impact in the lives of pets and their owners. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and other facilities to ensure a hygienic environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. Assist with dog handling during playtime and training sessions. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' needs and well-being. Perform heavy lifting when moving animals or cleaning equipment. Participate in training sessions for new staff members on proper animal handling techniques. Experience Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is preferred but not required. Skills in dog handling, pet grooming, or pet sitting are highly valued. Familiarity with kennel operations and animal behavior is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting and maintain physical stamina throughout the workday. $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
