Job Description

Employee will be responsible for general cleaning of pet boarding facility, care of boarding and drop off dogs and cats, full scope of pet bathing care, disinfecting protocols, laundry, and cleaning of pet areas. Rotating weekend and holiday shifts required. Business hours are M-F, 7a
  • 5:30pm Shift hours include full days 6:45a
  • 5:45pm mixed with split shift days mornings 6:45am
  • 1:00pm or afternoons 12:00pm
  • 5:45pm.
Responsibilities:
Provide clean, safe, and comfortable housing for animals in our care Feed and walk dogs and cats according to set schedules in all weather conditions Perform baths, nail trims, express anal glands, brush outs, clean ears Assist in monitoring the health and behavior of boarded animals Clean kennels, treatment areas, and equipment Handle laundry, dishwashing, and general clinic cleanliness Assist veterinarians and technicians as needed with animal restraint and care
What We're Looking For:
Passion for animal care and welfare Responsible, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments Previous kennel or animal care experience a plus (but not required—we'll train the right person!) Must be able to lift 40+ lbs alone and up to 100# assisted Able to be on your feet for most of the shift
