Position Overview If you love dogs and enjoy working in a hands-on, active environment, this could be a great fit for you. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking team member to help care for dogs, maintain our facility, interact with clients, and provide basic grooming services. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, staying active during their shift, and being part of a small team that takes pride in providing excellent care. Key Responsibilities Scheduling Requirements Must be available at least one weekend day Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed Dog Care Feed, water, and provide medications to dogs as instructed Supervise dogs during playtime and exercise Monitor dogs for signs of illness, injury, or distress Follow each dog's individual care instructions including diet and activity needs Facility Care Clean kennels, play areas, and facility spaces Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized environment Assist with daily facility upkeep and laundry Front Desk / Customer Service Welcome clients and check pets in and out for boarding, daycare, and grooming services Communicate with pet owners and answer basic questions about their pet's stay Basic Grooming Perform basic grooming services such as baths and nail trims Requirements Previous experience working with animals Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift 50 lbs , move quickly if needed, and stand for extended periods Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Basic computer knowledge Must be 18+ years old Growth Opportunities Paid training provided Opportunity for a pay increase after successful completion of the training period Potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate Benefits Employee discount on boarding, daycare and grooming services
