Dog Walker and Pet Sitter - Benton County Launch

Entry-Level JobVerifiedNo experience needed

Job Description

Overview Dog Walker & Pet Sitter — Benton County Launch Team Bentonville, Rogers & Bella Vista, AR Part-Time at Launch | Flexible Schedule | Leadership Growth Path Estimated active-service earnings: $18-$25 per hour, plus 100% of tips Help an Established Pet Care Company Launch Its Next Market Solgave Animal Solutions is a professional, locally owned pet care company providing dog walking, pet sitting and overnight care in Northwest Arkansas. We have been serving local families for more than a decade. We are licensed, bonded and insured, maintain five-star Google reviews, and operate with professional systems, detailed care standards and a deeply established Washington County team. Now we are preparing to launch in Benton County. Our owner expects to move into the Bentonville/Rogers area within the next three to six months. We are already beginning service for an established client near the Bentonville Square, receiving inquiries from the area and preparing to build a carefully contained local route. We are looking for one exceptional person to help us begin. This is not an ordinary opening on an already-full schedule. It is an opportunity to become one of the first members of our Benton County team—and potentially grow into its lead caregiver, trainer and local representative. An Honest Description of the Opportunity This position will begin small. We are entering a new service area one client at a time, so we cannot promise immediate full-time hours or a large route on your first day. Early assignments may consist of only a few visits, a recurring midday client or occasional weekend pet sitting. The right person understands that they are helping plant the seeds of something much larger. As Benton County grows, the person who helps us establish the territory may receive: Priority access to new local clients An accelerated path toward Benton County Lead status Opportunities to train future team members Increased responsibility and a higher lead-level percentage structure The potential to build a substantial recurring schedule One of our current Washington County leaders began with a single midday client and gradually built a significant schedule and leadership role. That growth took consistency and time. It is an example of the pathway—not a promise of immediate income. This Role May Be an
Excellent Fit If You Are:
Already providing care through Rover or another independent platform Taking college classes primarily online Working remotely with control over your daytime schedule Retired or semi-retired and looking for active, meaningful work Building a pet-care career and wanting professional structure Financially able to begin with limited, variable hours while the territory grows Interested in becoming part of a real team rather than always working alone Existing Rover or independent pet-care work is not an automatic disqualifier. For this launch position, Solgave may approve existing outside pet-care work during the ramp-up period under a clear written agreement covering scheduling, client boundaries and conflicts of interest. We want the right person to have a realistic way to earn while helping us build. Primary Responsibilities The initial Benton County need will focus on: Midday dog walks and potty breaks Vacation pet-sitting visits Weekend and evening drop-in care Feeding, fresh water, medication and routine home care Detailed visit reports and pet photos Communicating promptly through our professional scheduling system Following individualized instructions for each home and animal Interest in overnight care is valuable but not required for every applicant. Our established Washington County team can provide some crossover and backup support as the new territory develops. Schedule and Service Area Most midday assignments occur Monday through Friday between approximately 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM , although some visits may fall earlier or later. Pet-sitting assignments may include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. We build concentrated routes instead of sending caregivers all over Benton County. Applicants should ideally live near Bentonville, Rogers or Bella Vista and be comfortable serving homes within approximately a five- to ten-mile radius of their primary area. Because clients request care at different times, schedule flexibility is extremely valuable. What Makes Solgave Different This is not an unsupported gig-app position.
Our caregivers receive:
A detailed professional operations manual Paid dog-walking and pet-care education Ongoing mentorship and hands-on development Professional walking gear and safety equipment Backup support when illness or emergencies happen A team that communicates and helps one another The ability to request meaningful time off Established scheduling and client-communication systems Independence in the field without being left alone A genuine path toward leadership We want our caregivers to earn, grow and become better animal-care professionals. We also work intentionally to prevent the burnout that often occurs when independent sitters have no backup. The Person We're Looking For You should be: Exceptionally dependable and punctual Calm, observant and capable of good judgment Comfortable entering and working inside clients' homes Confident with both dogs and cats Willing to learn our standards and follow detailed instructions Comfortable working independently A strong written and verbal communicator Physically able to walk several miles and work outdoors Available year-round rather than seasonally Interested in building something over time Protective of client privacy and household security Previous professional animal-care experience is strongly preferred. Rover experience, veterinary experience, shelter or rescue work, kennel experience, fostering, dog walking or established pet-sitting experience may all be valuable. You do not need to arrive knowing the Solgave system. That is what we train you to do. Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal transportation Smartphone with dependable service Ability to travel between client homes Ability to pass required background screening Consistent availability and prompt communication Willingness to complete paid training Residence in or near the Bentonville, Rogers or Bella Vista area Compensation Percentage-based compensation for completed services Estimated active-service equivalent of approximately $18-$25 per hour , depending on service type and route 100% of client tips go directly to the caregiver Increased earning potential as the local client base grows Higher percentage opportunities connected to future lead responsibilities Starting hours and income are not guaranteed because this is a new territory. Applicants should be comfortable with a gradual ramp-up. About Solgave Animal Solutions Solgave has provided professional Northwest Arkansas pet care since 2013. We are a Google-screened Local Services advertiser with strong client reviews, established operating systems and a Washington County team ready to provide guidance and backup as Benton County launches. You can learn more about our company, services and values at solgave.com . If you already understand the realities of professional pet care—but want better structure, training, support and room to lead—this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Apply today and tell us why you may be the right person to help build Solgave's Benton County future.
