About Us:
West Rose Pet Lodge and Wellness is a dedicated pet care facility focused on providing a safe, clean, and loving environment for dogs in our care. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and treating every pet like family.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kennel Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the daily care, cleaning, and supervision of dogs in our facility. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with animals, has a strong work ethic, and can handle a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Feed, water, and monitor dogs according to their individual needs Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces Supervise dogs during playtime and ensure safe group interactions Administer basic medications as directed (if applicable) Observe and report any changes in behavior or health Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Provide excellent care and attention to each animal Assist with customer drop-off and pick-up as needed
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs) Reliable transportation and strong attendance Ability to work weekends and holidays Previous animal care experience preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Patience and compassion for animals
Pay:
$12.00 per hour
