Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling to meet client specifications and breed standards Handle animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures, utilizing animal restraint techniques when necessary Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene-related grooming tasks with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide recommendations for pet coat maintenance Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and well-maintained Assist with pet handling during veterinary visits or other animal care activities as needed Support kennel duties such as feeding, cleaning, and managing animal behavior to ensure a safe environment for pets and staff Experience Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Knowledge of dog training, animal handling, and pet coat styling techniques is essential Experience with veterinary procedures like animal restraint or pet nail trimming enhances your suitability for this role Familiarity with heavy lifting involved in handling larger animals or equipment is beneficial Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally Background in customer service or client relations helps create a welcoming experience for clients Previous kennel experience or pet sitting roles demonstrate your ability to manage various animal care responsibilities Join us to make a positive difference in pets' lives while building a rewarding career in pet grooming!
