Job Summary Small salon consisting of 2 groomers (1 full time manager, 1 part time owner/groomer)

Holidays are ALWAYS optional (we typically close for ALL federal holidays. If the bank is closed, you do not have to come in for work if you don't want to) Duties Be able to groom min 6 dogs per day (mix of small and large dogs) Handle dogs safely Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, special instructions, and aftercare recommendations Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Dress appropriately, speak professionally, and be respectful of clients. Skills Be able to handle different dog temperaments. Be transparent with the pet owners about their dogs. Knowledge of breed specific trims is a HUGE plus. Our clients and their dogs are accustomed to a specific type of care. Custom haircuts, careful handling of special needs dogs, transparent communication, honest feedback, and asking lots of questions to the client so that we get the haircut right!
