It's a super-personalized, affordable, and fun way to keep our furry friends looking, feeling, and smelling their best. We offer do-it-yourself dog baths, and full-service bathing and grooming. POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented, dog-loving hybrid team member. This is a dual role; some days you'll be in the bathing area delivering top-to-tail spa treatments for pups, and other days you'll be running the front desk, creating awesome guest experiences and keeping the shop humming. If you can multitask, stay calm when things get busy, and genuinely love dogs, this one's for you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all bathing services from start to finish, including bathing, brushing, drying, de-matting, grinding and clipping nails, and gland expressions Bathe 7-10 pets per day while maintaining Bowie Barker's standards of excellence Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional attitude Handle check-ins, check-outs, and process payments Sell memberships, services, and products that are beneficial to dogs and their pet parents Communicate effectively with groomers and clients about pet needs and timing Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the salon Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

First and foremost, a love for dogs! Minimum 1 year of professional bathing experience (in a grooming salon or veterinary setting preferred) Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with many moving parts Strong multitasking skills you must be able to shift priorities quickly without losing your cool Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift pets up to 50+ lbs Bowie Barker is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
