Mission:

Happier Pets by nurturing connection and understanding between pet, sitter, and owner! As a Pet Care Specialist with K9s In Camo Pet Care, you will provide occasional 30/45/60 minute dog walks and drop-in visits to clients in Hereford, Sierra Vista, and on-post Fort Huachuca. Joining K9s In Camo Pet Care is an excellent opportunity for people who want to work independently with flexible schedules to earn extra income. Please note that there are no guaranteed hours for this position. Some weeks will have no work, and some weeks will be very busy. We work when clients need us; thus, hours vary. Busier times include weekends and holidays. This is supplemental income only - not regularly scheduled part time or full time shift work. This is an excellent opportunity for college students, retirees looking to stay active, stay-at-home parents, and military spouses!

Requirements:

18+ Pass a federal background check Reliable transportation and willing to travel to Hereford, Sierra Vista, and on-post Fort Huachuca Time management skills Punctuality - showing up for assigned visits is non-negotiable Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays with a focus on weekday mornings and occasional weekends Have a smartphone and be comfortable using app based technology and software to communicate with clients Strong attention to detail Follow written instructions Ability to think fast and on your feet Ability to lift 50lbs and walk long distances Comfortable handling different types of animals from cats, dogs, birds, rodents, reptiles, and everything in between
