Whole Groom is a small business in Surprise with an organic wellness based, upscale salon. We're looking for experienced groomers who are kind, compassionate, and love what they do. Flexible schedule, this is a part-time job or potential full-time. •
AVAILABLE ON SATURDAYS A MUST
•Enjoy a healthy manageable schedule with an average 4-6 dogs per day. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, styling, and pet coat maintenance with precision and care Handle animals safely using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure both pet and handler safety during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene-related grooming tasks efficiently and compassionately Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide professional advice on pet coat styling and care routines Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and work area in compliance with health standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns promptly and professionally Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, including dog handling, animal handling, and animal restraint techniques Knowledge of pet coat styling, pet grooming procedures, and pet nail trimming best practices Background in veterinary experience or as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required for heavy lifting tasks during grooming or kennel duties Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners about animal care needs and grooming preferences Kennel experience for understanding animal behavior and care routines Demonstrated ability to handle animals gently yet confidently across various breeds and temperaments Join us in creating a positive environment where pets feel loved and cared for!
