Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description

Are you an animal lover? Do you want to work in the animal Industry? Pet sitters care for various pets while their owners are away on vacation or working long hours. They may either stay in pet owners' homes or perform daily visits to provide pets with food, fresh water, medication, and companionship. Also includes bringing in the mail and packages, watering plants, cleaning a litter box, popper scooping the backyard, and rotating lights and blinds. You MUST be very flexible schedule and be able to spend the night in our clients homes. Most overnight sitting assigningments are for multiple days and will require that you have your own vehicle to get to and from the assignments.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
