Key Responsibilities Full-Service Grooming:
Deliver expert grooming services, including precision hair/fur trimming, de-matting, bathing, blow-drying, nail grinding, and hygiene care (gland expression, teeth brushing).
Client Consultation & Care:
Conduct thorough hands-on check-ins and check-outs, maintaining proactive and clear communication with pet parents via phone, text, and email.
Wellness Advocacy:
Inspect animals closely during the grooming process using expert judgment to identify and inform owners of any physical anomalies or health concerns.
Business & Service Growth:
Educate clients on tailored products, add-on services, and maintenance routines best suited for their pet's health and breed.
Safety & Sanitation:
Maintain a pristine, sanitary, and safe workstation while handling every animal with patience, respect, and kindness.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
1 to 4+ years of professional grooming experience required.
Technical Proficiency:
Proven mastery of scissoring techniques, styling, and standard breed-specific cuts.
Equipment:
Must own a complete set of personal grooming tools and equipment maintained in excellent working order.
Education & Age:
High school diploma or equivalent required (must be 18+ years old). A professional grooming certification is highly preferred.
Mindset:
Deep passion for animal welfare and a continuous drive to stay educated on industry products, techniques, and safety standards.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 24.0 per week
