We are a professional pet care company looking for an awesome, dependable, and motivated part-time Dog Walker & Pet Sitter (Employee) to join our team! If you love being outside, staying active, and building relationships with pets and their owners, this could be the perfect fit for you. This is a part-time employee position with growth opportunities within the company.
JOB DETAILS / REQUIREMENTS
(Please read before applying!) Reliable and responsible, with strong judgment when handling pets and navigating real-world situations Quick learners who can pick up routines, routes, and client preferences efficiently Independent and self-motivated, able to manage their time without direct supervision Confident and calm working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Available at least 3 days a week (with flexibility based on demand) Willing to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to work at least one day during the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) and one major holiday each year. Experienced with pets (Professional experience not required) Located within 30-40 minutes of our service areas (Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Culver City, Santa Monica, Brentwood, West LA, etc.) Comfortable servicing multiple nearby areas (we schedule efficiently to keep routes manageable)
MUST HAVE A
reliable car, valid driver's license, and current car insurance A clean driving record A smartphone with data (we use apps for scheduling and communication) Comfort transporting dogs in your car when needed Ability to pass a background check Comfort working with both dogs and cats (big and small!)
JOB DUTIES
Dog walking (neighborhood walks, park visits, and occasional higher-energy outings) Cat sitting and pet visits Feeding and refreshing water Administering oral medications (when needed) Writing detailed visit reports and uploading photos for clients Following detailed care instructions for each pet and home
COMPENSATION
$18.50/hour starting rate Paid training 401k Weekly pay Mileage reimbursement between appointments 90-day performance review with opportunity for a raise
