We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced grooming environment, genuinely enjoys working with dogs, and takes pride in providing safe and quality care. Responsibilities Bathing dogs of different breeds, sizes, and coat types Properly shampooing and conditioning dogs Thorough blow drying and brushing Nail trimming and grinding Ear cleaning Assisting groomers when needed Safely handling nervous, energetic, and larger dogs Keeping the bathing, drying, kennel, and work areas clean and organized Communicating with the front desk and groomers regarding each dog's status Making sure assigned dogs are fully completed before moving on whenever possible What We're Looking For Professional dog bathing or grooming salon experience strongly preferred Comfortable handling small and large dogs Able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety Reliable attendance and punctuality are extremely important Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Comfortable with a physically active job, including standing, bending, lifting, and handling dogs throughout the shift Must be available for scheduled shifts and communicate appropriately regarding any attendance issues Weekend availability is preferred What We Offer Tips included Busy salon with a steady flow of dogs Supportive team environment Opportunity to gain additional grooming experience Groomers are on-site for support Consistent work for the right candidate Employee discount on grooming services
