In this role, you'll provide professional grooming services tailored to each dog's unique needs, ensuring they look and feel their best. Responsibilities Perform pet coat styling, including bathing, trimming, brushing, and finishing touches to meet breed standards or owner preferences Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming tasks with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet care routines Manage animal handling with patience and compassion, especially when working with anxious or difficult dogs Assist with basic veterinary-related tasks such as veterinary technician or assistant duties when needed, including animal health assessments or post-procedure care Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools are sanitized and equipment is in excellent working condition Support the overall well-being of animals by providing gentle handling, proper pet sitting during appointments if required, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Qualifications Prior experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience or veterinary technician background is a plus Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain animals safely and compassionately Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners about grooming needs and pet health concerns Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling large dogs or equipment Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and general pet grooming procedures Experience in animal restraint, animal care, or companion animal handling is advantageous A genuine love for animals combined with a professional attitude focused on safety and quality service Join us in creating a friendly environment where pets feel loved and cared for!
