ANIMAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
(dogs, horses or livestock).MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
Kennel Attendant Duties Include:
- Feeding and medicating dogs
- Providing a safe environment for dogs to interact with each other and our staff
- Monitoring any "Special Needs" dogs, who may be older or medically fragile
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Maintaining our high standards of cleanliness inside and outside of our facility (this includes poop scooping and other chores!)
- Maneuver and move kennel equipment around as needed
Additional Position Information:
- 15-30 hours per week planned dependent on your availability: Part-time
- some split shifts AM and PM may apply
- Flexible Scheduling
- Picking up additional voluntary coverage shifts may be possible
Compensation:
Starting $19.50-21.00/hour Dependent on Experience- Room to grow and advance within the company

Required Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous animal experience (whether personal or professional)
- Ability to take direction and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to make quick, independent, critical decisions and act on them accordingly when necessary
- Excellent communication skills, respectful and friendly to all, always; professional disposition and appearance
- Valid Driver's license, reliable transportation and clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand/walk all day, lift and maneuver 50 lbs safely, safely physically withstand potentially large strong dogs pushing, pulling, or jumping up, and work outside in varying temperatures and conditions.
