Responsibilities:

• Groom and style pets according to client requests and breed standards
• Bathe and dry pets, including brushing their coats and trimming their nails
• Clean and maintain grooming equipment and tools
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services
• Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during the grooming process
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a pet groomer or completion of a pet grooming program strongly preferred
• Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements
• Ability to handle pets with care and patience, especially those that may be anxious or fearful
• Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners in a friendly and professional manner
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting heavy animals, and performing repetitive tasks
