Description Key Responsibilities Perform professional grooming services, including: Brushing and bathing Hair cutting, trimming, and styling Ear cleaning Teeth cleaning Nail trimming and grinding Anal gland expression Safely handle and care for both small and large dogs throughout the grooming process. Ensure the health, safety, comfort, and well-being of every animal in your care. Utilize professional grooming equipment, including clippers, shears, dryers, and nail grinders, while maintaining equipment in good working condition. Manage grooming appointments and maintain an organized daily schedule. Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service to pet owners. Assist in growing the grooming business by greeting customers, making appointment reminder calls, and promoting grooming services. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming salon by performing routine housekeeping and following all safety and sanitation standards. Qualifications Previous professional dog grooming experience required. Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and techniques. Ability to safely handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Genuine passion for animal care and welfare.
