Applicant must not have anything that will interfere with the job duties and requirements to assure that our Resort runs smoothly and our Pets are safe and well taken care of. They depend on us to provide a clean, comfortable and safe environment for them! Must be self motivated, fast learner, hard working, takes accountability, and has a strong work ethic. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel and lift as necessary for the daily job duties with absolutelyNO RESTRICTIONS.
Therefore, you also Must be able to handle large dogs independently. Must be passionate, and give the highest of service to our furry friends and clients. What we are looking for in a kennel attendant:- Walking, feeding, medicating and picking up after the Pets.
- Keeping rooms and outdoor areas clean and sanitized
- Reporting the animal's condition to staff, veterinarian and management
- Clearly filling out cage cards for pets boarding
- Helping facilitate tours of the facility
- Stocking all kennel/cleaning supplies as needed
- Maintain communication with fellow staff members and be able to handle stress and pressure
- Be willing to help wherever else is needed, we are a team!
