We are in search of a Kennel Attendant to join our team that is available to commit to a schedule ranging from 8am 4pm Monday-Sunday, and Holidays are a MUST! This position is Seasonal and Hours vary depending on the Resort Occupancy.

Applicant must not have anything that will interfere with the job duties and requirements to assure that our Resort runs smoothly and our Pets are safe and well taken care of. They depend on us to provide a clean, comfortable and safe environment for them! Must be self motivated, fast learner, hard working, takes accountability, and has a strong work ethic. Must be able to stand, bend, kneel and lift as necessary for the daily job duties with absolutely
NO RESTRICTIONS.
Therefore, you also Must be able to handle large dogs independently. Must be passionate, and give the highest of service to our furry friends and clients.   • Walking, feeding, medicating and picking up after the Pets.
  • Keeping rooms and outdoor areas clean and sanitized
  • Reporting the animal's condition to staff, veterinarian and management
  • Clearly filling out cage cards for pets boarding
  • Helping facilitate tours of the facility
  • Stocking all kennel/cleaning supplies as needed
  • Maintain communication with fellow staff members and be able to handle stress and pressure
  • Be willing to help wherever else is needed, we are a team!
Qualifications Previous kennel experience and strong animal handling skills. Proficiency in animal restraint and pet care techniques. Experience in veterinary settings. Ability to provide excellent customer service and manage heavy lifting tasks, handling of larger breed dogs. Walking up and down stairs several times during your shift and with larger breed dogs. Passion for animal welfare and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for pets.
