Role:

The Dog House Grooming in Tulare, CA is looking for a talented and passionate Pet Stylist to join our team! If you love working with animals and have a knack for making pets look and feel their best, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Perform full-service grooming including bathing, drying, brushing, and styling for a variety of dog breeds Execute breed-specific haircuts and custom styling based on owner preferences Safely handle pets of all sizes and temperaments throughout the grooming process Clean and sanitize grooming tools, equipment, and workstations regularly Communicate with pet owners regarding coat condition, skin issues, or behavioral concerns Perform finishing touches such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing Maintain accurate grooming records and appointment schedules

Requirements:

Prior professional pet grooming or pet styling experience preferred 2 Years minimum Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and techniques Comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments Strong attention to detail and a passion for animal care and safety Ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced grooming environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Grooming certification or formal training is a plus
