Job Summary Join our compassionate pet care team as a dedicated Cat Sitter, where your love for animals and attention to detail will ensure our feline friends receive exceptional care and comfort. In this role, you will provide attentive, loving care to cats in their owners' absence, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness. Your energetic approach and reliable nature will help create a stress-free environment for both pets and their owners, making a positive difference in their lives every day. Duties Feed and administer medications to cats according to owner instructions, ensuring proper nutrition and health management Provide engaging playtime and companionship to keep cats mentally stimulated and emotionally secure Monitor cats for signs of illness or distress, reporting any concerns promptly to veterinary professionals or pet owners Clean litter boxes regularly, maintaining a hygienic environment for each feline under your care Perform routine animal handling and restraint with patience and gentle techniques to ensure safety during care activities Follow detailed care instructions provided by pet owners or veterinary professionals to meet individual needs Maintain accurate records of feeding schedules, medication administration, and behavioral observations Qualifications Transportation (Must own an insured vehicle) Ability and willingness to work weekends & all major holidays Prior experience with animal handling, pet sitting, or veterinary assistance is highly desirable Knowledge of veterinary procedures, medication administration, and animal restraint techniques Strong understanding of pet grooming, pet care routines, and kennel experience is a plus Ability to handle multiple pets with patience, compassion, and professionalism Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or equipment handling Passion for animal welfare with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to pet safety Join us in creating a safe, joyful environment where cats feel loved and cared for!
