Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment that fosters trust and satisfaction, making every grooming session a delightful experience. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each pet's breed and individual needs. Assess each pet's health and behavior to ensure safe grooming practices and identify any signs of health issues requiring veterinary attention. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas to uphold the highest hygiene standards. Schedule appointments efficiently using our booking system, ensuring timely service delivery while managing client expectations. Provide excellent personal service to pet owners by explaining grooming procedures, offering advice on pet care, and addressing questions or concerns. Assist with errands related to pet supplies or special requests from clients as needed. Support other team members with tasks such as handling pets during grooming or managing reception duties in busy periods. Qualifications Prior salon or spa experience with animals is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with grooming techniques and equipment. Experience working in a pet or veterinary clinic is advantageous for understanding animal health and behavior management. Strong personal service skills with adults, adolescents, elderly individuals, or clients in private residences are beneficial for building rapport with pet owners. Ability to handle multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. Knowledge of appointment scheduling software or booking systems is a plus. Reliable transportation assistance may be required for mobile grooming services or off-site appointments. Previous experience in hotel or office building environments can be helpful for managing client interactions professionally.
