Hiring:

Ranch Animal & Event Assistant KB Ranch in Castle Rock is looking for one or more reliable, hands-on people to help with our ranch animals and events on a flexible, part-time/as-needed basis. We are specifically looking for someone who is comfortable and experienced handling haltered cattle and donkeys . Experience with pack saddles and working with donkeys/mules is a big plus!

What you may help with:

Walking and exercising our miniature donkeys and cattle Haltering, leading and safely handling animals Preparing animals for weddings, parties, photos and other ranch events Assisting with pack saddles and our donkeys during events Helping manage animals safely around guests Feeding/watering and general animal care as needed Mucking stalls and keeping animal areas clean Event setup and breakdown Moving tables, chairs and event equipment General ranch help as needed Availability we're looking for: Our schedule varies based on the animals and our events, so flexibility is important.

We especially need help:

Weekday mornings — early mornings are totally fine! Weekday late afternoons — generally 3 PM or later Weekends Additional hours surrounding events as needed We would prefer someone who lives in Castle Rock or very nearby , since some shifts may be shorter and scheduled around animal care. This could be a great fit for someone with experience around cattle, horses, donkeys, mules, 4-H/FFA animals, ranches, farms or livestock shows who wants flexible, supplemental work. We're looking to get some help ASAP, so the sooner you can start, the better — and if you're available to start THIS WEEK, even better! We may hire more than one person , so please reach out even if you can't cover every time slot. Pay:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 8.0 per week
