What You'll Do As a Professional Dog Groomer, you'll provide high-quality grooming services while ensuring every pet has a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.
Your responsibilities include:
Perform professional grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, de-matting, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland expression. Create breed-specific and customized styles based on client preferences. Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and ages. Monitor each pet's health and alert owners to any concerns noticed during grooming. Maintain accurate grooming notes and client preferences. Provide exceptional customer service during check-in and check-out. Educate pet owners on grooming schedules, coat maintenance, and home care recommendations. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grooming salon. Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and equipment maintenance. Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: An experienced professional dog groomer or pet stylist. Skilled in a variety of grooming techniques and breed-specific cuts. Patient, calm, and confident handling dogs of all personalities. Passionate about animal welfare and safety. Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented. Organized with excellent attention to detail. Committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Eager to continue learning and growing professionally. Qualifications Professional grooming experience required. Strong knowledge of canine behavior and safe animal handling. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift dogs as needed.
