overview Join our dedicated team as a Small Animal Care Taker and make a meaningful difference on our ranch! In this lively and rewarding role, you'll be responsible for providing compassionate, attentive care to rabbits, chicken, quail, guard dogs and 2-3 sheep., Ensuring their well-being, cleanliness, and comfort. Your enthusiasm for animal care will shine through as you perform daily tasks that promote health, happiness, and safety for our furry friends. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in pet handling, animal behavior, and facility sanitation while working in a dynamic environment. I need someone M-F I also have weekends available to take care of the small animals on my farm you will be there with another helper. Responsibilities Feed, water, and monitor small animals to ensure they are healthy, comfortable, and well-cared for throughout their stay Clean cages, bedding, and common areas regularly to maintain a hygienic environment that promotes pet health and safety Handle animals gently using proper restraint techniques to prevent stress or injury during routine care. Skills Experience with handling animals May require heavy lifting when moving feed or cleaning equipment. Join us in creating a safe, clean, and loving environment where small animals thrive! Pay:
$15.16 - $18.00 per hour
