•Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Professional Pet Groomer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will provide exceptional grooming services that enhance the health, hygiene, and appearance of a variety of pets. Your expertise will help ensure each pet feels comfortable and confident, while fostering positive relationships with pet owners. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircutting, styling, and trimming to meet each pet's specific needs and owner preferences Handle animals safely and gently using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety for both pets and staff Conduct pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other grooming procedures with precision and care Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, special needs, and aftercare instructions Maintain a clean, organized grooming station by sanitizing tools and work areas regularly Assist with animal handling during grooming appointments, ensuring proper restraint and safety protocols are followed Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally and promptly Experience Previous experience in pet grooming is highly preferred; certification from a recognized grooming program is a plus Knowledge of dog handling techniques and animal restraint methods Veterinary experience such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant background is advantageous for understanding animal health considerations Experience with animal care including pet sitting, kennel work, or equine handling is beneficial Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger animals or equipment Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, animal restraint, and basic veterinary procedures such as veterinary technician tasks or veterinary assistant duties Join us in creating a positive grooming experience that leaves pets looking great and feeling happy!
