Live-In Household Assistant / Pet Sitter (FT) Job #: J2307
Position Details:
Full-Time, Permanent, Live-In Live-In Accommodation:
Newly furnished private guest apartment on the property with a private living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom
Location:
Greenwich, CT Schedule :
Monday-Friday, with 2 days off per week
Hours:
9:00 AM-6:00
PM Compensation:
$50,000-$90,000 per year, W2 (on the books)

August 10, 2026 A private household in Greenwich, CT is seeking a calm, reliable, and proactive Live-In Household Assistant / Pet Sitter. The main focus of this role is caring for the family's German Shepherd, Max, so strong comfort and experience with large dogs is essential.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily care for Max, the family's German Shepherd Walk, feed, play with, and provide companionship for the dog Take Max to appointments as needed, including grooming, vet visits, and training-related outings Stay with Max when the principal is traveling Run occasional errands as needed Assist with light household tasks, including unpacking groceries and receiving packages Liaise with the dedicated property management company if repairs or maintenance are needed at the home Prepare occasional breakfast or drinks as requested Communicate with the principal's Personal Assistant, who is based in the UK Drive as needed for pet care, errands, and household-related tasks
Schedule Notes:
The candidate will have two days off per week. In most cases, the principal will be at the home several days per week, allowing days off to be taken away from the property. There may be times when the principal travels for several weeks, and the ideal candidate would be comfortable remaining at the house during some of those periods to care for Max, as he cannot be left alone. For the right candidate, all days off can still be taken away from the property; however, when the principal is away, the candidate would need to drop Max off at a local dog sitter's home before leaving and pick him up upon return.

Calm, reliable, and proactive Responsible and attentive to pet care needs Comfortable with live-in arrangements Flexible when the principal is traveling Organized and able to manage light household support tasks Trustworthy, discreet, and professional Warm, patient, and confident with large dogs
Requirements:
Strong experience caring for dogs, especially large breeds Comfortable with a German Shepherd living on the property Able to walk, feed, transport, and participate in Max's care and routine Authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Valid driver's license and ability to drive as needed Own car is a plus, though a vehicle for work-related tasks may be arranged Comfortable communicating with household staff and outside service providers
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Please describe your experience caring for large dogs, including walking, feeding, playtime, appointments, and daily routines.
