Overview Wags with Binti is a growing local pet-care business looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and animal-loving Pet Care Assistant to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, and especially overnight house sitting. This is a flexible, part-time position that is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and cats and is looking for consistent pet-care work. What you'll do Provide overnight pet sitting/house sitting in clients' homes Care for dogs and cats while their owners are away Feed pets according to their normal routines Provide walks, playtime, enrichment, and companionship Give medications when needed Complete 30-minute drop-in visits Follow detailed instructions provided by clients Keep clients' homes clean and cared for Communicate with me throughout each booking and provide updates/photos to clients Safely handle dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels Compensation $50-$65 per house-sitting day/night, depending on the booking and responsibilities $20 per 30-minute drop-in visit Additional compensation may be available for certain higher-responsibility bookings Schedule This is a flexible, part-time position. The amount of work will vary depending on client bookings. House-sitting availability is especially important. We are looking for someone who can commit to overnight stays on some weekends, holidays, and other dates throughout the year. Drop-in visits may also be available during the day. You do not need to be available every day, but reliable availability and advance communication are extremely important. We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and responsible Comfortable staying overnight in clients' homes Comfortable caring for dogs and cats Patient and attentive with animals Comfortable following detailed care instructions Able to communicate professionally with clients Comfortable handling dogs on leash Able to provide references Has reliable transportation Has previous pet-care, animal-care, veterinary, kennel, daycare, or similar experience preferred Experience with reactive, nervous, senior, or special-needs dogs is a plus. Important This position involves entering clients' homes and caring for their pets independently, so trustworthiness, reliability, and good communication are extremely important.
