Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning with precision and care Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and your safety during grooming procedures Provide basic training and guidance on handling and animal restraint to new team members or pet owners when appropriate Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide advice on pet care and maintenance Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and equipment after each use Assist with additional pet care tasks such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or light veterinary assistance when needed Lift heavy grooming equipment or pets safely to prevent injury while ensuring efficient workflow Skills Strong knowledge of animal training techniques and animal handling skills to ensure safe interactions with pets of all temperaments.
