Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organized individual who is passionate about customer service and dogs to join our team as a receptionist.
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and greeting visitors with enthusiasm. Answering questions for current clients and potential new clients. Screening information from clients to determine pet eligibility status. Giving tours to potential new clients. Keeping a positive attitude when discussing dogs and their days. Checking in/out dogs of all sizes and bringing them to other parts of the facility. Handling customer information and collecting payments. Knowledge of company policies and procedures. Communicating to the back about dogs schedules and needs. Keeping the lobby clean and organized. Willingness to help with other tasks with the dogs as needed. This includes services (baths, nails, etc), cleaning, washing dishes, laundry, moving dogs, and other duties. An ideal candidate for this position has excellent communication skills, takes direction well, quickly learns and grasps new tasks and concepts, is highly dependable, can multi-task, is comfortable standing for periods of time, has confidence in handling dogs of all sizes, and has great attention to detail. We are looking for an individual who is motivated to provide a personal touch in an efficient manner, communicate with pet parents, and who is excited to join our growing dog daycare/boarding center. Experience with dogs and customer service is ideal; however, we are willing to train the right applicant.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
