Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Part Time Dog Groomer/Bather and unleash your passion for animal care! In this energetic role, you will be the expert in pet coat styling, grooming, and bathing, ensuring each furry client leaves looking and feeling their best. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your love for animals with your grooming skills, all while working in a lively, supportive environment. Whether you're trimming nails, giving baths, or handling pets with care and confidence, your work will make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Duties Provide professional grooming and bathing services tailored to each pet's breed, size, and coat type Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety and comfort during grooming procedures Trim pet nails and perform basic pet care tasks such as ear cleaning and coat brushing Communicate effectively with pet owners to discuss grooming preferences and address any special needs Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitizing tools and equipment after each use Assist with animal handling duties such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or animal restraint when needed Support team members by providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive atmosphere for pets and owners alike Requirements Prior experience in pet grooming, bathing, or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training, veterinary procedures, or veterinary technician/assistant experience is a plus Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and pet coat styling is essential Ability to handle animals safely during grooming sessions, including heavy lifting of larger pets when necessary Strong communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally Experience with kennel management or pet sitting is advantageous A genuine love for animals combined with a proactive attitude and attention to detail Must be able to Work 1-2 Saturday's a month . Part time work for 1-2 days a week off season, 2-4 days during season. Days and hours are flexible. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in pet grooming while making a positive impact on animals' well-being. Pay:
$50.00 - $100.00 per week
